Competition & Scoring
Format
This is an open competition, no pre-qualifying is necessary. Each team
competes once. Competition is held Saturday and Sunday. Download

Schedule of Events
PDF to view which day each division will compete. Individuals
and stunt teams compete Friday. There will be a total of 100
points possible from each judge. The high and low scores are dropped
and the remaining
scores added for each teams final total and rank.

Competition Floor
The competition floor is a 54 feet wide by 42 feet deep spring floor. All cheer and dance teams will compete on this surface.
AWARDS
Every Competitor Gets a Medal and a Patch
Every competitor will receive a US Spirit Championship custom competitor medal and every competitor receives an official 2007 Championship patch.
Every Team Gets a Trophy
Every team competing in the Arnold Championships is presented a trophy and is recognized during their awards ceremony! The top 3-5 placing teams in each division receive special top placement trophies.
Individual and Stunt Team Champions
National champions in all individual cheerleader, dancer duo/trio and stunt teams receive a National Champion trophy. The top 3 to 5 places in each division will be awarded trophies depending on the total number of entries in the division.
National Champion Medals
National champions in all stunt team, cheerleading and dance teams divisions will each receive a beautiful custom designed die-cast Arnold Classic National Champion Medal.
National Championship Jackets
National Champions in every division not listed below, where there is at least one other team competing will receive official US Spirit National Champion jackets. In divisions which have only one team, the champion team will receive official US Spirit National Champion jackets if their score meets or exceeds a predetermined percentage of the total overall score. This will allow teams that have no additional teams in their division to still have a goal to compete for and against! The following divisions are not eligible to receive jackets; Tiny, Rec, Special Needs, Junior Varsity and Freshman division.
National Champion Banners
National Champions in every team division will receive a Arnold Champion Banner.
$1,000.00 College Scholarship
A $1000.00 college scholarship from the Rotary Club of Columbus will be awarded to the top scoring individual cheerleader or dancer from Friday’s competition. The winner will have the scholarship presented to them by California Governor and weekend host, Arnold Schwarzenegger on Saturday.
AC On Tour Award
American Cheerleader Magazine will present the American Cheerleader® Editor’s Choice Award which goes to exceptional squad at each national event that is part of American Cheerleader Magazine On Tour.
