Location & Venue
The competition will be held in BATTELLE HALL which is located on the third floor of the Columbus Convention Center. Battelle Hall provides stadium seating on two levels!

Competition & Scorting Format

This is an open competition, no pre-qualifying is necessary. Each team competes one time. Competition is held Saturday and Sunday. See the Schedule of Events PDF below for list of which divisions compete which days. Individuals and stunt teams compete Friday. There will be a total of 100 points possible from each judge. The high and low scores are dropped and the remaining scores added for each teams final total and rank.

Cheer & Dance Competition Floors
The cheerleading floor is a 54’ wide by 42’ deep AAI competition spring floor. The dance floor is a 40‘ by 40’ Harlequin Dance Floor.

Competitor & Team Awards

Every competitor will recieve a custom medal and a souvenir competition patch. Every team receives a trophy and will be recognized during their awards ceremony.

Individual & Stunt Team Awards
The overall top scoring individual competitor will receive a $1000.00 College Scholarship from the Rotary Club of Columbus. The top individual division competitors receive trophies. Stunt Team members each receive a trophy and medal.

  • Top placing teams in EACH division receive CHAMPIONSHIP BANNER AWARDS!
  • Overall GRAND CHAMPIONS will be presented additional trophies and recognition at the awards ceremony and on the US Spirit website!

AMERICAN CHEERLEADER ON TOUR

American Cheerleader Magazine will present an American Cheerleader® Editor’s Choice Award to an exceptional squad at each event. This all-encompassing honor will be presented to a squad that embodies the spirit of American Cheerleader® Magazine.

Rotary Club of Columbus $1000.00 Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Columbus will be presenting $1,000.00 College Scholarship to the top scoring individual cheerleader.

Grand Champions
5 Grand Champion Trophies will be presented to the top scoring Mini, Junior Prep, Junior, Senior, and Dance team.

Spectator Tickets - Incredible Value!
Admission to the entire EXPO is only $10.00 per day. The EXPO ticket includes admission to the Arnold Fitness EXPO, including ALL the events listed below! NO ADDITIONAL SPECTATOR FEE for the Cheerleading and Dance Championships. Tickets may be purchased directly outside BATTELLE HALL.
Adults & Students: $10.00
10 Years and under: FREE, if accompanied by adult.
No Strollers allowed.
